Leah DPF-703 Wedge Flow Element consists of a flange or butt weld body with wedge element. The basic flow equation for wedge is derived from Bernoulli’s equation. This wedge element creates a differential pressure in proportion to the square of the volumetric or mass rate of flow. H/D ratios are specified to provide the desired differential pressure ranges. The Wedge flow element has wide ranges in Reynolds Number. It can resolved most difficult flow measurement applications such as high viscous, dirty fluids, abrasive, erosive slurries, etc.
